About The Role

Are you looking for an opportunity that:

👉 The PX Ad Creative Strategist role is for you.

Your job is not to “make ads.”

Your job is to generate winning ideas, turn them into clear briefs, and work with the creative team to ship high-volume, high-quality ad tests — fast.

We are building the best ad creative system in the world.

That means:

  • Heavy investment in AI, tooling, and experimentation
  • Clear creative frameworks (not random ideas)
  • Strong feedback loops between data → insight → next hypothesis
  • A culture that values creativity + efficiency, not chaos

Your sole purpose in this role is to:

Consistently increase the percentage of winning ads while shipping a high volume of intelligent tests.

Your Skills & What You’ll Own

🚀 Creative Strategy & Ideation

What you own:

  • Coming up with high-quality ad ideas rooted in psychology, awareness levels, and proven angles
  • Developing clear hypotheses for every test (why this should work, not just “let’s try it”)
  • Ensuring every account has a healthy, consistent pipeline of ad ideas

You live in:

  • Angles
  • Hooks
  • Frames
  • Beliefs
  • Objections
  • Desire states

And you enjoy it.

🧠 Briefing & Creative Direction

What you own:

  • Turning ideas into clear, executable briefs for editors and creators
  • Briefing in volume without sacrificing clarity or strategic intent
  • Making it easy for creatives to win by giving them strong inputs

Your briefs reduce:

  • Back-and-forth
  • Confusion
  • Rework

And increase:

  • Speed
  • Output
  • Win rate

⚙️ Ad Creative System & AI Leverage

What you own:

  • Using PX’s ad creative systems as designed
  • Actively improving those systems over time
  • Leveraging AI tools to:
    • Speed up research
    • Generate variations
    • Shorten idea → launch timelines

We expect you to be:

  • Curious about new tools
  • Willing to test and adopt better ways of working
  • Focused on creative efficiency, not just creativity

🔍 Performance, Testing & Accountability

What you own:

  • Your ad win rate
  • The number of ads shipped
  • Understanding why ads are winning or losing
  • Feeding learnings back into the next round of ideas

You are accountable for:

  • Tracking performance using PX systems
  • Identifying fatigue, blockers, and opportunities early
  • Raising the creative standard over time

How Success Is Measured

You’ll be measured on:

  • % of winning ads across accounts
  • Ad volume shipped per week/month
  • Speed from idea → live
  • Contribution to client performance and scaling
  • Contribution to PX case studies (our North Star)

Who This Role Is Perfect For

This role is ideal if you are:

  • Obsessed with why ads work
  • Naturally curious about psychology, persuasion, and behavior
  • Energised by research, patterns, and idea generation
  • Comfortable being held accountable to performance metrics
  • Someone who wants to be one of the best ad strategists in the world

Non-Negotiables (Please Read Carefully)

You must:

  • Have 2+ years experience as an ad creative strategist, or similar role
  • Have experience creating or leading paid social ad concepts
  • Understand Meta ad formats, creative constraints, and testing logic
  • Be able to explain why an ad works, not just that it worked
  • Genuinely care about performance, not just aesthetics
  • Be located in AUS / SE Asia / USA West Coast timezones
    • ❌ Not a fit: Europe or USA EST
  • Be fluent in English and confident communicating with clients
  • Attend daily company meetings (non-negotiable)
    • Currently 9am Bali time
  • Have 2–3+ years agency experience
  • Have worked remotely before

  • Our sales team understands digital marketing and are taught to set expectations VERY CLEARLY with new clients (aka are sales team are NOT told to sell at all costs. We only want good fit clients in the portfolio)
  • We ONLY take on ethical businesses as clients. We will not work with any company who we think are shady or don’t align with our values. 
  • We have a no dick head policy for clients. We are picky with our team, and we are picky with our clients.
  • We ONLY take on clients who we truly believe we can help. We disqualify most leads.
