PX is a fast growing performance marketing agency that specialises in scaling high ticket B2B and B2C companies.Â
We are not a high volume, âchurn and burnâ agency. Results are the only thing that matter. We track ROI for every client, and our north star metric as an agency is that EVERY client turns into a case study we are proud of.Â
We know that traffic and ads are worthless unless it converts, so we build a new âLead Machine Funnelâ for every client. We take the time to understand the client and uncover who their customers are and why they buy, and then create the clientâs offers, landing pages and funnels. Once we build their Lead Machine Funnel System, we run paid ads and optimise their campaign each month. We are like our clientâs plug & play performance team. Because of this, our portfolio has an extremely high success rate, and a low churn rate.Â

About The Role

PXâs Head of Performance Marketing is for you if you love leading people, you love direct response and creating epic client campaigns, and youâre passionate about creating an amazing client experience (plus coaching our pod leaders & teams on this).
Your ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Coach & Train Pod Leaders: Help our team leaders become their best selves. Be a sounding board for marketing ideas, and help them navigate client relationship questions and situations.Â
- Create & Improve Systems: Systems will set you free. We donât believe systems limit creativity, but help to unlock it. You will work with the team on âkaizenâ and improve our systems (as well as finding new systems to help the team succeed).Â
- Hiring New Team Members: You will be part of the hiring process to bring in A-players to our high performance team.
- Client Retention: Prevention is better than cure⊠you can create an environment where our pod teams can excel at results & revenue. But letâs be real, clients churn and some churn is healthy. Your job is to bring that number down as low as possible (our dream for 2025 is 5% churn).
- Enforce High Standards of Client Work: You need to be a broad T shaped marketer who understands enough about copy, design, ads, tech, media buying etc to have intelligent conversations with the team. Maybe youâve been off the tools for a few years, but you know what is world class and what is acceptable (and acceptable is not acceptable).   Â
- Assist Sales Team: We donât have a âsell anything that moves and has moneyâ policy. Our goal is to only bring on the right fit clients we truly believe we can win for. Our sales team is awesome and respects the fulfilment team. They do need help with auditing accounts or closing big deals from time to time.Â
- Grow Client Accounts: Clients come to us because they want to scale their paid ads (we screen for ambitious growth goals⊠and realistic expectations ;) ). You will support the pod leaders to grow client accounts. This is a win-win for our clients, and for PX.
- Help Team Get Epic Client Results: Work with the team leaders and their teams to troubleshoot accounts and take results to the next level.Â
- The ultimate goal is supporting the pod leaders in the retention of the clients, and you will be measured on the overall retention rate, and your teamâs ability to turn a client into an ah-mazing case study!Â
âQualifications
- Experience leading teams of managers in an agency.
- Experience in stakeholder management and relationship building.Â
- Experience in performance marketing (paid ads, landing pages, funnels)
- Experience coaching team members, and a passion for unlocking the best in people.
- Experience in direct response marketing (and a love for Dan Kennedy) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal & written communication.
- Ability to solve problems and come up with systems to avoid the problem again.

âOther Role Details
- Pay Range: $160,000AUD - $180,000AUD
- Hours: This is a Full Time position
- Location: We are a 100% remote agency. The founders travel full time, and itâs cool for you to do that too! Our team members are from around the world, and we make sure we have time where the team overlaps.Â
- Professional Development: We are big on professional development, and youâll be coached by both founders, have access to the PX courses, all the courses we have ever bought (itâs a lot!), and additional coaching or programs as needed. We believe our team are assets to invest in.
- Report To: You will report to Alisha Conlin-Hurd, co-founder & CEO
- About Your New Team: We only hire A-players. This means youâll only work with some of the best in their respective fields. Everyone is hungry to learn and grow, and committed to getting great client results. Â
